Bethel Christian Academy understands that finding dependable childcare can be difficult. Affording childcare is another obstacle. BCA is dedicated to helping families find a stable, loving and compassionate experience within our school and childcare network. Working closely with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS), and Southwestern Child Development Commission, in providing vouchers of assistance for qualifying families.
In light of the restrictions COVID-19 has caused on the capacity abilities of our public school systems, Bethel Christian Academy has opened its doors to parents of students returning to public school on a staggered schedule. This schedule of off and on in-person instruction, can be chaotic and somewhat inconvenient for a two-parent working household. Using a subsidy voucher, parents will be able to send their children to their public school on their assigned days, but would also be able to enroll their child(ren) at BCA for the days the child would otherwise be at home. Allowing their child to engage with others on a regular basis. Students would also be allowed to bring their remote learning materials with them, and work just as they would under normal circumstances. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to return to some normalcy for the 2020-2021 school year.
Enrollment fees and application fees are waived for parents seeking assistance. If approved, parents of part-time enrolled students would be expected to follow all rules set forth in the BCA Parent-Student Handbook. And would sign in agreement at the time of enrollment.
