"Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? ... No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." -Romans 8:34b-35 and 37 NIV

Wednesday, January 22 - Daniella
Wednesday, January 15 - Change
Be ready to discuss "change" in the context of Christianity. What kinds of changes occur in someone's life when they are adopted by Christ? What dark corners are hiding in our lives, hoping that we never shine a flashlight on them and dust them? Is change necessary? If you have a little bit of time, think about some of these questions in preparation and we can have a fun class discussion!
Week 3 - Shoe Drives, Card Making, and discussing Ephesians
I'm updating after the fact, but for everyone not there, we talked about the shoe drive and brainstormed. We also made some beautiful hot pink cards for some of the nursing home residents in the county. In the next few weeks we will begin studying Ephesians.
Week 2 - Daniella
First Day Back in Class: August 29th!
Bring your favorite cup! We're having punch and cookies before breaking off into groups for team-building. Get to know who you will be working with this year during mini-projects and pick one idea for your team to really focus on this year! I repeat, seriously: you can bring your favorite cup.
